Beautiful park with a wonderful history and a smartly designed environmental purpose, Me and my little sweetheart daughter we do Love this park shes enjoying with playground and biking a lots Beautiful scenery, nice pond all kinds of wildlife πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰βŒ The only thing Me and my daughter didn't like from this park is the dogs waste aroundπŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ πŸ‘‰ Why Do People Not Pick Up there Dog Poop????❓❓❓❓ πŸ‘‰ It is incredibly frustrating to go to a beautiful park and have the experience ruined by dog waste, especially on walking paths and playing fields. πŸ‘‰βŒit is a serious issue that shows a lack of care for shared public spaces and safety. There are several reasons why this happens, along with serious consequences that, unfortunately, many pet owners seem to ignore. πŸ‘‰βŒSome owners simply feel it is not their responsibility, or they expect someone else (park staff) to clean it up πŸ€” πŸ‘‰Dog feces can contain parasites (hookworms, roundworms) and bacteria (E.coli, salmonella) that can infect other dogs and people, especially children playing in the grass. 1βŒπŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰so what can be done πŸ‘‰Many cities have fines for not cleaning up, often around $100 or more, and have dedicated Animal Services or park staff

Ben Brenman Park in Alexandria, Virginia, is a true hidden gem that beautifully blends natural beauty with modern recreational amenities. Spanning over 59 acres, the park offers something for everyoneβ€”whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an active day outdoors. The centerpiece of the park is its serene pond, which is often surrounded by ducks and geese, offering a picturesque backdrop for walking or simply relaxing on a bench. The paved walking and biking trails are ideal for casual strolls or morning jogs, weaving through shaded areas and open fields. The well-maintained landscaping, seasonal blooms, and large mature trees make every visit scenic and calming. Families love the playground, which is clean and spacious, while pet owners appreciate the dog-friendly environment and nearby trails. There’s also a large athletic field and a well-kept baseball diamond, making it a great spot for sports practices or pickup games. One of the park’s unique strengths is its peacefulness. Despite being near the busy Cameron Station neighborhood, it never feels overcrowded. There's ample parking, restrooms, and even picnic areas that make it easy to spend an entire afternoon there

This is a scenic and peaceful park in the Cameron Station area of Alexandria. I have driven/biked past it on Duke St. many times. I decided to stop because there are some late 18 century wooden ships raised in Alexandria during construction and moved to the pond for preservation. I never saw the ships but, WOW, this is a hidden gem.

Beautiful, clean, neat park! Nice little pond, full of wildlife, ducks, geese, herons, fish and tons of turtles amongst others. A lot of cherry trees alongside the pond. A toddler playground, baseball field, lots of green areas, some trails and nice pedestrian bridges over the pond. The parking lot is also decently sized. Thumbs up for families to have a pleasant evening at a nice park!
